Alario Group is proud to be the designated agency for Rahm Emanuel’s successful Spanish-language Chicago mayoral campaign.
As soon as Rahm announced his candidacy his campaign advisers understood the need to hire an agency with a track record of expertise in Chicago’s Latino community. They wanted an agency that understands the needs and dreams of the Hispanic community and one that masters the most efficient tools to deliver their campaign messages to them.
Alario Group counseled the campaign team on their Spanish-language communication strategy, prepped Rahm prior to his interviews with media outlets and live televised debates, and designed the media buying strategy for TV, radio and print in order to maximize the designated budget and achieve maximum reach.
In addition to that, Alario Group created, wrote and produced all the campaign spots for Spanish-language TV and radio.
Rahm Emanuel won this historic election with 55% of the votes, an advantage of more than 30 points over Gery Chico, his closest opponent. Latino voters played a very significant role in his landslide victory, a great achievement considering that two of the leading candidates –Gery Chico and Miguel Del Valle– were of Latino descent.
